Presidential Search Committee Formed;
Campus Meetings Scheduled for Next Week

Trustee Arlene J. Gibson, who chairs the committee that will search for the successor to President Nancy J. Vickers, has announced that the representatives to the committee have all been chosen. The 15-member committee is composed of seven trustees, four faculty members, a member of the staff, one undergraduate, one graduate student and a member of the Haverford College Board of Managers. The committee will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, April 10. On that date, before the committee meets, Gibson will hold open meetings in Thomas Great Hall with faculty, staff and students — one for each group. She encourages community members to discuss their suggestions, concerns and hopes for the future of the College and its leaders.

The schedule:

• Meeting for students: noon-1:30 p.m.
• Meeting for staff: 1:30-3 p.m.
• Meeting for faculty: 3-4:30 p.m.
