Leslie Rescorla, a professor of psychology and director of the Child Study Institute and the Thorne Early Childhood Programs, will take the helm of the Katharine Houghton Hepburn Center for the next two years.

		Inquirer Editors Discuss Writing Op-eds, Future of Journalism in Visit to Bryn Mawr Students at Bryn Mawr got valuable tips about bringing research findings into the arena of public opinion when Philadelphia Inquirer Associate Editor John Timpane and columnist Chris Satullo visited the College last week.

		Yin Mei Explores Memory, History Through Dance The 2007-08 Performing Arts Series continues on Friday, Sept. 28, with a multimedia dance-theater work by acclaimed choreographer Yin Mei. She and her company will perform Nomad: The River at 8 p.m. in Goodhart Theater.

		Former U.S. Poet Laureate Richard Wilbur to Read Richard Wilbur, the only living American poet to have been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for poetry two times, will be reading from his work at Bryn Mawr College on Thursday, Sept., 27 at 7:30 p.m., in the Ely Room of the Wyndham Alumnae House.

		Legendary Bryn Mawr Archaeologist's Talk To Open Exhibition on Her Predecessors Brunilde Sismondo Ridgway will reflect on the work of the extraordinary female archaeologists who came out of Bryn Mawr in the early part of the century in a lecture Tuesday, Sept. 25.

		Bryn Mawr Grad Smokes Up the Screen in Mad Men, TV's Hottest Summer Drama Maggie Siff '96 plays Rachel Menken in Mad Men, a historical drama that follows the lives of Madison Avenue advertising executives at the smoke-filled, boozy cusp of the 1960s.

		Conference Asks: What Should Colleges Do About Dangerous Behavior on Campus? The one-day conference, featuring a keynote by Gary Pavela, the director of judicial programs at the University of Maryland-College Park and an authority on academic ethics, takes place on Sept. 24.

		Washington National Opera's La Bohème to Be Simulcast in Goodhart Sept. 23 Bryn Mawr is one of 32 schools across the country presenting the live simulcast from the Opera House stage at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

		Creative Writing Reading Series Opens Sept. 27 Seven prizewinning practitioners of the arts of poetry, memoir, essay and fiction will visit the Bryn Mawr campus this year as part of the Creative Writing Program Reading Series.
