Assistant Professor of Social Work and Social Research

The Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August 1, 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to be part of developing and teaching a diverse and inclusive curriculum, including contributing to college-wide initiatives such as the 360 Program. We seek candidates able to teach in at least two required content areas in the MSS program and who are committed to innovative teaching and mentorship. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in substance use, community-based practice, translational research, practice informed research, psychometrics, and advanced statistical analysis. The successful candidate will also demonstrate an ability to address issues of power, privilege and oppression in social work education, research, and practice. Candidates should have an established research agenda, and must have a MSW, post-MSW practice experience, and a Ph.D. in Social Work or a related discipline by the start date.
