Tiffany D. Baffour, M.S.S. ’99 was named the new director of the School of Social Work at East Carolina University. Baffour brings more than 25 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, clinical practice, advocacy, research, and administrative leadership, amassed through work at the University of Utah, in the University of North Carolina system, and with the Council on Social Work Education.

Helen Collins ’84
Helen Collins ’84 was inducted into the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Division III Hall of Fame Class of 2025. Collins’ induction comes as part of only the second-ever Division III Hall of Fame class. An 18-time All-American, Collins was a standout swimmer at Bryn Mawr, where she set a new standard for excellence in the pool and beyond.
Ella Evans ’25
Ella Evans ’25 was one of 65 Americans selected from more than 400 applicants to study and work in Germany as part of the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals. Evans will stay in Germany until June 2026, where she will complete a two-month intensive language course, study at a German university, and complete an internship while acting as a citizen ambassador of the United States.
Theresa Kim ’01
Theresa Kim ’01 was elected 2027 Chair of the Health Policy Statistics Section of the American Statistical Association, where she will lead cooperations with other government agencies to establish new ways to use and disseminate data for health policy research and lead in organizational efforts around policymaking. Dr. Kim received her M.S. from the University of Washington, where her advisor was Katie Kerr ’93, and is a program director of Health Systems Research at the National Institute on Aging.
Lisa Krassner ’94
Lisa Krassner ’94 was named the new president of the Massachusetts Historical Society. Krassner has more than 25 years of leadership experience with museum and cultural institutions, including most recently as the director of the Concord Museum. Krassner will be leading the MHS during a busy time of programming as it celebrates the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
Devon Pasha ’06
Devon Pasha ’06 was named one of the “Top 100 Most Influential Members of the Events Industry” by the Eventex Awards for Events and Experience Marketing. Pasha has more than 20 years of experience as an emcee, speaker, and facilitator, and launched her own firm, DMP Creative LLC, in 2022.
Jessica Scheick ’09
Jessica Scheick ’09 was awarded the American Geophysical Union’s Open Science Recognition Prize. Scheick is a glaciologist, open-source software developer and maintainer, remote sensing expert, and open science advocate. Her current work centers on research-enabling, open-source software projects and collaborative development education.
Cea Weaver ’10
Cea Weaver ’10 was named to Crain’s New York Business “40 Under 40” for 2025 for her work as director of Housing Justice for All, a statewide coalition of housing advocacy groups. Weaver has worked as a tenant organizer, campaign researcher, and housing advocate in New York for more than a decade.
