Katherine Crawford Luber, Ph.D. ’92, has been elected the Nivin and Duncan MacMillan Director and President of the Minneapolis Institute of Art.

After an eight-year tenure as head of the San Antonio Museum of Art, Katherine Crawford Luber, Ph.D. ’92, has been elected the Nivin and Duncan MacMillan Director and President of the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA).

“With Dr. Luber, we have selected an exceptional leader to be the 12th director of the Minneapolis Institute of Art,” MIA Board Chair David Wilson says. “Katie possesses the curatorial and management experience we sought in a leader. She has an authentic, passionate vision for how art can engage, educate, and delight us all.”
