For her first taste of the corporate world, she passed up a chance to return home for work with a Kenyan startup focused on improving farmers’ productivity and financial awareness. “I was motivated by the long-term benefits of gaining technical, communication, and leadership skills,” she says, “and creating a network that will enable me to have an even bigger impact in the future.”
