Danielle's theorem

We are pleased to announce that Danielle Smiley (Math) has successfully defended her doctoral dissertation "Estimates on Oscillatory Singular Integral Operators". Danielle's work directly expands upon the work of Bryn Mawr Rachel C. Hale Professor Leslie Cheng and colleagues Hussain Al-Qassem and Yibaio Pan - by which she alters the phase function of their operator to include a non-polynomial term. Her work shows that the new operator is able to be bounded with logarithmic behavior over the real n-dimensional Hardy Space H^1. Danielle's dissertation advisor is Professor Leslie Cheng.

Congratulations Danielle!
