The Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research's students and alumni attended the Episcopal Community Services Forum on Justice & Opportunity at the National Museum of American Jewish History on Saturday, November 11th, 2017. The event "connects volunteers and social change activists to human service experts in order to activate partnerships and build holistic approaches to service across the region".
The event included two breakout sessions: Justice: Institutional Systems that Reinforce Economic Inequality, led by Kerry E. Smith, Esq. of Community Legal Services and Opportunity: Understanding the Culture of Poverty, led by Keva White, LCADC, LCSW of VIP Community Services, Inc.
