Allen Vayner M.S.S. '25 Receives Award from PA Society for Clinical Social Work

Allen Vayner, M.S.S. '25, recently received the Clinical Excellence Award from the Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Work.

Open to all graduating master of social work students in Pennsylvania, the award acknowledges the outstanding clinical work of students.

Vayner is an outpatient therapist who primarily works with individuals with complex PTSD and neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD and autism.

“I think Bryn Mawr's reputation and local network gave me some invaluable training opportunities that really accelerated my professional growth,” says Vayner, “I had some amazing clinical coursework, and Dr. Sara Bressi was especially influential and encouraged me to compete for this award.”

The Master of Social Service program at Bryn Mawr is a balanced curriculum that prepares students for leadership in social work. The program emphasizes the development of professional skills and in-depth practice experience. Graduates of the M.S.S. program become leaders in a variety of social work settings, including government agencies, healthcare services, clinical practices, and nonprofit organizations.
