Faculty and Graduate Students in Science and Math Talk Successful Interview Strategies

Posted November 29th, 2017 at 6:58 pm

On Nov. 10, 2017, students and faculty of the Graduate Group of Science and Mathematics held their first professional development seminar of the year. This session's theme was "Interview Preparation." At this well-attended event, faculty and students discussed strategies for various scenarios typically encountered during academic and private sector interviews. Particular attention was paid to distinguishing oneself in types of questions asked of interviewers and to positive answers for context-specific questions. The event is part of a series of professional development workshops slated for this academic year.
