Carolyn's first career was teaching Latin and Greek at the middle and high school level. In 2012, she made a career change and began her MSS at Bryn Mawr GSSWSR. Carolyn graduated from GSSWSR in May 2014 and began working as an outpatient mental health therapist at the Wedge, a community mental health agency in Philadelphia. Carolyn worked at the Wedge as a therapist for three years, including one year as a supervisor of graduate student interns. Carolyn is excited to combine her clinical experience from this challenging practice setting with the rigorous research training she is receiving as a PhD student to improve service delivery in community mental health settings.
