From Trauma-Informed to Trauma-Competent is a six-part certificate series that moves practitioners beyond trauma-informed awareness into applied, trauma-competent, equity-driven practice using a clear developmental journey: Self → Practice → System
Rooted in neuroscience, cultural humility, and systems change, participants will go beyond symptom management to address root causes, systemic oppression, and collective well-being. Participants begin with ethical self-reflection, expand into trauma-competent engagement with others, and conclude with equity-centered systems change tools.
This intensive equips professionals with tools to support children, families, and communities impacted by systemic oppression, social determinants of health, and intergenerational trauma. Participants will engage in case studies, reflection, and interactive exercises to strengthen culturally responsive and justice-centered practice.
The program blends asynchronous foundations with live, interactive application labs to build deep understanding and real-world readiness.
