Health Insurance
Bryn Mawr College requires all students to have health insurance coverage. GSAS students are required to either enroll in or waive the College Student Health Insurance annually. To waive the insurance, students are required to provide proof of enrollment in an alternative qualifying health insurance plan. All international students are required to enroll in the College plan.
To begin the enrollment/waiver process, visit the College Student Health Insurance web page.
Coverage runs from August 1 - July 31 of each year. The enrollment/waiver process must be completed by August 31 each year. Students who do not complete the process by the deadline will be automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan.
The cost of the 2026-2027 plan for domestic graduate students is $4,487 and is billed on the fall billing statement, which includes insurance premiums and the fee for the Bryn Mawr College Health and Wellness Center. For international students, the cost for the 2026-2027 plan is $$2,401.
The cost of health insurance premiums will be billed to students by Bryn Mawr and will be payable to Bryn Mawr College. Students whose GSAS financial support package includes a subsidy for health insurance will receive the subsidy as a credit against their account. Students without subsidies will have to pay the full cost of any premiums.
