In this pivotal 3-part workshop series, Leading Across Key Organizational Challenges, we embark on a critical discussion of how to both build and lead through teamwork, how to navigate important transitions and change, and how to define and use strategy in every leadership decision made.
This series is designed to address the unique challenges faced by nonprofit leaders. As stewards of change and care, leaders often navigate complex organizational situations without the ability to access guidance, support, and solid information along the way.
Crafted with interactive presentations and discussions, the sessions are designed to equip leaders with practical tools and insights to develop new skills and establish connections with other nonprofit leaders.
Session Highlights:
Navigating Transitions and Change: This session will examine how leaders not only make decisions about needed organizational changes but also guide their employees, particularly their direct reports, to manage change effectively. The session will look at the differences between the actual concept of change and transition, one being the actual event and one being the emotionality behind it.
Building and Leading Effective Teams: This session will explore the value behind working in teams and the correlation between teamwork and organizational buy-in. Participants will have an opportunity to share how they have or have not built teams and what some of the obstacles have been while delving into examples of effective teamwork and the benefits that accompany it.
Strategic Thinking for Change: In a leadership role there is strategy behind all decisions made. In this session, we will look carefully at what strategy means and how it informs process while also examining the assessment process in determining when an organization needs a strategic plan and how a leader must steer that process with staff and Board.
Throughout the series, we will honor everyone’s journey and style as a leader, building on the underpinnings of authentic leadership and self-awareness along the way. Participants will be given an opportunity to address key challenges while celebrating key successes. A variety of participant practices will be welcomed and acknowledged.
Join us in this enriching series to not only elevate your leadership skills, but also to instill a culture of well-being that resonates within, to your team, and across your organization.
