The Certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is designed for mental health professionals and students at the graduate and post-graduate level who are interested in learning the concepts and practical hands-on clinical skills of Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Completion of program requirements results in the presentation of a frameable certificate of completion at the final session of the program.
The Clinical Certificate Program explores several complementary psychodynamic theories which emphasize the clinical relationship as central to the work. The program aims to deepen and expand participants’ understanding of key theoretical concepts such as: holding environment, containment, affect regulation, transference/countertransference, projective identification, enactment and self-disclosure.
The Certificate in Trauma Program provides a foundational understanding of trauma theory and presents principles, tools and strategies that enable trauma-informed practice in service and treatment settings that support recovery and healing for adults and children and reduce inadvertent harm. Completion of program requirements results in the presentation of a frameable certificate of completion at the final session of the program.
Bryn Mawr's Home and School Visitor Certificate program is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and is compliant with current PDE standards, including accommodations and adaptations for students with disabilities and for English language learners.
