March 28, 2018

The seventh annual Blended Learning in the Liberal Arts Conference is coming up May 23 – 24 at Bryn Mawr. Learn more about the conference and register today!

What is the Blended Learning Conference?

These conferences (now in their seventh year) are a forum for faculty and staff to share resources, techniques, findings, and experiences related to blended learning, broadly defined. Presentations this year cover topics including programmatic innovation, flipped classrooms, open educational resources, and emerging, experimental methods. We’re welcoming over 60 presenters from all over the country. See our full schedule here.

This year we are introducing a new format, Lightning Rounds! These are 5-minute pitches on exciting topics such as peer review through collaborative work in the digital context with comics, art conservation and exhibition, and foreign language placement exams.

We’re especially excited this year to announce our keynote speaker, Randy Bass. Bass is the Vice Provost for Education and a Professor of English at Georgetown University. He is the Founding Executive Director of Georgetown’s Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS), a University-wide center supporting faculty work in new learning and research environments, where he continues as a Senior Scholar for Pedagogical Research.
