Social Work Journeys from the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, hosted by Mary Florence Sullivan ’11, LMSW, and produced by Hairee Hayden, M.S.S. ’27, released its fourth season this academic year. The podcast explores social work through conversations with students, alumnae/i, professors, and social workers from Bryn Mawr and beyond.

Samantha Pinto, visiting professor in Africana Studies, and co-host Dr. La’Tonya Rease Miles, focus on the representations and experiences of students who are the first in their families to go to college, as well as traditionally underrepresented college students. They talk about first-gen stories in media, culture, and history as well as their own experiences.
