Tripod is the online research portal and library catalog for the TriCollege Libraries (use the pull-down menu in the search bar for articles and course reserves as well). This is always your first stop. If the material is unavailable, you may request a copy from outside the Tricolleges through Tripod.
Borrowing from BMC Libraries
Current tri-co students, faculty and staff; tri-co alumnae/i, Bryn Mawr faculty and staff spouses, and faculty affiliated with some EZ Borrow member institutions can borrow from BMC Libraries. All other visitors are welcome during business hours, but may not borrow materials, print from library printers, or access electronic resources from off-campus.

This is always your first stop. If Tripod does not have what you need proceed to EZ Borrow (for books) and ILL (for books not in EZ Borrow, articles, and anything else).

Request Borrowing Privileges
Alumnae/i
Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore alumni have access to borrow from the BMC Libraries with access granted from their respective institutions. Bryn Mawr alumnae/i should review access privileges and complete the access request form found in the Bryn Mawr Alumnae/i Library Resources libguide.
Faculty & Staff Spouses
Spouses of Bryn Mawr faculty and staff may obtain BMC Libraries borrowing privileges by completing the Gym/Library Application for Spouses form and submitting it to Human Resources.
Faculty at PALCI Institutions
Through the Partnership for Academic Library Collaboration and Innovation (PALCI), member institutions engage in a reciprocal on-site borrowing program. Look up participating libraries and complete the borrowing authorization form.
