The 2017 Community Day of Learning (CDL) will take place on Wednesday, March 22nd from 9:15 a.m.-3:40 p.m. The program, titled “Minds and Bodies: Belonging in Our Community,” includes opening and closing sessions that will bring all of us together to begin and end the day; a one-woman show by writer and performer Nimisha Ladva on her family’s experiences as immigrants from Pakistan to the U.S. (during Time Block 1); a performance by poet and spoken word artist Wahlida Imarisha (during Time Block 3); fifty (!) different sessions organized by students, faculty and staff that will be offered across three session time-blocks. Information about each session is available on the Community Day of Learning website.

Lunch will be provided in New Dorm and Wyndham without cost for anyone who takes part in the day’s programming. During the lunch break, community members are also invited to enjoy Pets on the Green.

Please note that a double-session will take place at GSSWSR spanning Time Block 2 and the lunch block; box lunches will be provided for participants. Shuttle buses will be available between GSSWSR and Main Campus and a shuttle bus schedule will be posted on the CDL website closer to the date.
