A Night with YASP will mark the opening of an art gallery displaying various works of art by some of Philadelphia's incarcerated youth. The gallery opening will include an open mic night with performances from the community, including music and spoken word poetry with a social justice focus. Light refreshments provided!
YASP seeks to create a space that centers and uplifts the voices of those who have been marginalized and actively attacked by America's prison system, while recognizing the intersections of how those attacks take form.
