Civic Engagement is looking for a school-year coordinator who will physically maintain Bryn Mawr’s community garden, recruit volunteers to assist in the garden care, and manage social media promoting the garden, among other tasks.
The Community Garden Coordinator will also serve as Co-Head of the BMC Garden Club and manage the garden’s budget. The coordinator will also maintain relationships with Garden Coordinators at Haverford College and Swarthmore College to share resources and ideas and report weekly to Vippy Yee in the Civic Engagement Office located in Dolwen, Cambrian Row. The schedule will be 8-12 hours per week. The pay rate is $10.50 per hour.
The perfect candidate will have ability to work well independently, previous experience managing others/recruiting volunteers, and previous experience working in a garden.
