Lunch: Alumna Career Chat with Linet Suarez ‘13

Come to a Skype chat with a lovely alumna lawyer, Linet Suarez '13. Linet has interned at NASA & spoke at her law school graduation. A political science major, while at BMC she was a peer mentor, volunteered with multiple organizations on and off campus, worked as a Resident advisor, and did service with CPGC and Civic Engagement. Pizza will be served!

More about Linet

Linet was the student commencement speaker for her law school class at the University of Miami in 2017. While at graduate school, Linet was selected to be a HOPE Summer Public Interest Fellow with Florida Legal Services and was a member of the Health Rights Clinic in Miami, FL. She was editor-in-chief for the Inter-American Law Review, and in 2017 published an article, “Liberty at the Cost of Constitutional Protections: Undocumented Immigrants and the Fourth Amendment.” In 2016, she secured a coveted internship at NASA’s Office of the General Counsel and shared in an interview that her NASA experience confirmed that she would like to be in public service and work for a federal government agency as her future career. Linet recently took a position as a staff attorney with the Florida Supreme Court, and has moved to Tallahassee. While at Bryn Mawr, Linet was a summer intern at the Nationalities Service Center (NSC) through the Summer of Service program sponsored by the Civic Engagement Office.
