Panel: Tri-Co Immigration Information Panel and Discussion

Join our Tri-Co community this Monday, February 6th at 6:30pm in Stokes Auditorium for an Immigration Information Panel and Discussion to hear experts address the concerns of students, faculty, and staff.

Attorney William Stock of Klasko Immigration Law Partners has been practicing  immigration law exclusively for more than twenty years and currently is the President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), a 14,500 member national organization of immigration lawyers.  Haverford has worked with Bill Stock and other Klasko attorneys on visas and immigration services for faculty and staff for a number of years. 

Attorney Sondra Miller-Wein is the founder of Immigration Law Options, LLC,  and a staff attorney with HIAS Council Migration Services of Philadelphia, a non-profit organization providing legal and resettlement services.  Sondra serves as Chair of the Board of Esperanza Immigration Legal Services in Philadelphia, and is an expert on naturalization, asylum and non-immigrant visas.

Matthew Hamill is the Senior Vice President of the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) in Washington, DC.  He oversees policy, research, government and public relations activities.  He can provide some perspective from Capitol Hill and report on how politicians in Washington are responding to the “optics” of the issue.
