Program Info Session: Leadership, Empowerment, and Advancement Program (LEAP) Information Session

Further develop your leadership skills! Come to this information session to learn about LEAP, an interactive, semester-long program designed to help you better understand yourself as a leader, become more effective when leading groups, and perform better in teams. 

The LEAP Format

Students participate in an intensive, experiential learning process that will help them develop more advanced leadership skills. Students participate in over 35 hours of weekly workshops as a cohort over one full semester. LEAP uses a variety of learning techniques such as games, role plays, lecturettes, group discussion, self-reflection, and journaling.

The LEAP topics include:

  • Understanding Your Leadership Style
  • Understanding How Groups Work
  • Building an Effective Team
  • Managing Conflict
  • Strategic Planning for Student Organizations
  • Managing Meetings
  • Project Management
  • Incorporating Leadership into Your Resume and Interviewing

This program is open to all undergraduate Bryn Mawr students of all levels of leadership experience. There is a particular emphasis on helping emerging leaders to develop their skills.
