Special Event: AIDS Walk/Run Philly 5K

September 23, 2016

Sunday, Oct. 16, Philadelphia, PA

Walk or run in the region’s largest HIV/AIDS public awareness and fundraising event and make a lasting statement about “Getting to Zero” – zero new AIDS infections, deaths, and stigma!

Join in the commitment to getting to zero by participating in AIDS Walk/Run Philly 5K on Sunday, October 16! Below are the many ways you can participate:

  • 5K Walker: The Walk is held on the scenic Martin Luther King Drive in Fairmount Park.  Walkers are encouraged to raise at least $50 so they can receive their official AIDS Walk/Run Philly 5K t-shirt.
  • 5K Runner: The 5K route is USATF certified and chip timed! All runners are required to pay $50 registration fee, but are encouraged to get sponsors and raise even more.
  • Volunteer: AIDS Walk Philly requires hundreds of volunteers to make the day safe and successful. Visit our volunteer page for information about volunteer jobs. Many volunteers choose to fundraise as well as volunteer!
  • Virtual Walker: Can't be there? You can still register, fundraise, and even join a team as a Virtual Walker!
