Special Event: Collection for Locally Resettled Refugees

April 11, 2016

Donate ASAP, Collection boxes near dorm freeboxes

BMC Amnesty International & United Nations’s collection will leave dorms tomorrow. Donate toiletry, household, school, and cleaning items in dorm collection boxes by tonight!

Bryn Mawr’s Amnesty International and United Nations chapters are working with Nationalities Service Center (NSC) in Philadelphia, who will distribute the articles to apartments set up for the locally resettled refugees they serve.

Collection boxes are currently set up in dorms, near freeboxes. Please donate these items by Monday, May 2: dishes, towels, sheets, pillows, blankets, waste baskets, brooms, unused toiletries, rice cookers, tea kettles, paper, pens, pencils, and cleaning supplies.

*After Monday, May 2, boxes will be removed from dorms, and only furniture, bedding, dishes, and similar houseware will be accepted through this form.

Questions, comments, suggestions, and concerns can be sent to unabrynmawr@gmail.com
