February 2, 2016

Apply by Friday, February 5, at 8 pm

Are you interested in working or volunteering in the nonprofit world when you graduate? Then the Effective Grantsmanship workshop may be the right intensive for you to take during Spring Break this year! Students will learn strategic planning skills that will be helpful to them in either a public sector job or in business planning. They will develop fundraising skills that will be a plus when applying for internships and jobs.

A detailed program description is attached, as well as a course schedule. In order to be eligible to apply, students must have at least one year of experience in a nonprofit organization, either as a volunteer, an intern, or a staff member. Students may attend only the classroom portion of the course, OR may also apply to participate in a 12-hour internship with a local nonprofit.

The application deadline is 8 PM on Friday, February 5. Students must complete an online application to participate in the course. Please click on the link to complete the application. (You need to scroll down to the bottom of the page to start filling out the application.)

If you have any questions regarding the course, please email the instructor, Margie DuBrow (mdubrow@brynmawr.edu).
