See a series of performances organized by the Green Ambassadors to kickoff the return of Bryn Mawr’s energy-saving competition, which will have Bryn Mawr's dorms compete to see who can conserve the most energy throughout the week of April 9th to the 13th!
Facilities will measure the dorm’s energy use throughout the week and compare it to baseline data, the dorm with the greatest percent decrease (which accounts for the varying sizes of our dorms) in usage at the end of the week will win a special dessert party with a chocolate fountain!
RULES: You are only allowed to turn off lights and unplug appliances that are easily accessible (ie. no accessing circuit breakers or unplugging dryers), but also be sure to abide by our honor code throughout the event!
The Green Ambassadors will also be holding conversations and hangouts to discuss energy and sustainability culture on campus! (Schedule coming to the event's Facebook page soon)
While this is a one-week event, the hope is that engaging in these practices and conversations can help us to establish a more sustainably conscious campus!
