Remember SAT preparation in high school? Want to share your experience and knowledge with high school students? Civic Engagement is launching a new 6-week volunteer program. Check it out!
This program is initiated in partnership with Parkway West High School this spring. The College Board has partnered with Khan Academy to create an online SAT prep tutorial. BMC volunteers are needed to guide and coach Parkway West High School Juniors through the tutorial. BMC Volunteers will be paired with 1-2 students throughout the program. While the focus of the program is SAT prep, there will be opportunities for a mentoring relationship as well.
The program is scheduled to take place from mid-March through April 2016 (approximately 6 week program), Monday and/or Wednesday afternoon from 2 - 5 (includes travel time to Parkway West High School). Van transportation is provided.
