Volunteering: Volunteer at a Town Hall on Building Healthy Communities Together

October 27, 2017

Monday, Oct. 30, 5:30-8PM, Mt. Pisgah AME Church, West Philadelphia

Volunteer in community-based health research by hearing from West Philadelphia residents about their top health concerns and strategies to improve them, and receive free dinner!

This data will then be used in Dr. Loretta Sweet Jemmott's "We're Here Because We Care: Building Healthy Communities Together" Initiative and in academic papers. This is an amazing opportunity to see community-based health research in action and engage with the residents of West Philadelphia.

This event is formally titled “Community Call to Action”: Building Healthy Communities Together Initiative and Mt. Pisgah AME Church is located at 428 N. 41st St. in Philadelphia, PA. Volunteers are needed for the entire duration of the event, but those who can only give an hour or so are still welcome.
