Workshop: Creative Action – Family Separation

October 12, 2018

Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, 12-2PM, Aquinas Center

Forced family separation has a long and tragic history in the United States, including the removal of indigenous children from family homes and the separation of children from enslaved parents. Join the Aquinas Center community to learn more about this history and how it connects to the "zero tolerance" policies currently impacting immigrant families. Participants will create an advocacy appeal to send to Governor Wolf to call for the closure of the Berks Detention Center in Pennsylvania.
