Workshop: 'Let's Circle Up' Restorative Justice Workshop

November 17, 2017

Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 18 and 19, 10AM-3PM, CPGC Cafe (Stokes 104) @ Haverford College

Restorative justice practitioners Aki Bivens and Michael Riccio '13 will lead Let's Circle Up, an intensive workshop on restorative justice open to all. This participatory workshop explores the philosophy of restorative justice, which seeks to address harm by acknowledging dignity, individuality and interconnectedness.

Let’s Circle Up has engaged hundreds of people, but this is only the third time the workshop has been offered outside of Graterford. The four themes addressed in workshop sessions are: rethinking justice, exploring harm, developing restorative approaches, and applying RJ values to our lives. There will be lunch breaks both days, with meal tickets provided for those not on the meal plan. You must be able to attend the full time on both days to participate.
