The below message was sent to faculty, staff, and students on April 14, 2026.
Dear Bryn Mawr Community,
It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Nichole Reynolds as our vice president for enrollment management. Having served as our interim vice president since January 2026, Nichole has demonstrated the steady, visionary leadership necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of higher education enrollment and financial aid. Her role officially began yesterday, April 13.
Nichole's tenure at Bryn Mawr has been marked by growth and strategic innovation. Since joining the College in 2022 as dean of undergraduate admissions, she has been instrumental in attracting a record-breaking applicant pool for our undergraduate program, a 20% increase overall. Her impact has extended across multiple facets of the undergraduate enrollment office, from contemporizing our applicant assessment tools to tripling our engagement with community-based organizations to ensure a diverse and talented student body.
As we look toward the future, Nichole is uniquely prepared to lead our enrollment efforts. Her achievements during her time at Bryn Mawr and her previous leadership roles at Mount Holyoke College reflect a deep commitment to the mission of women's colleges and a sophisticated approach to recruitment. Furthermore, her collaborative spirit has strengthened partnerships with faculty, Alumnae/i Relations, and the Impact Center, and her development of new financial levers ensures we remain on track to meet institutional goals for the Class of 2030. Beyond her technical expertise, Nichole is a respected voice in the national conversation on admissions, having recently served as the Sister College Chair and represented Bryn Mawr on various national panels on the enduring power of women's colleges.
Thank you to Samara Sit, vice president for communications and marketing, for chairing the search committee, and to the committee members for completing their important work: Kathleen Abels, director of admission at Haverford College, Greg Davis, associate professor of biology, Sylvia Houghteling, associate professor of history of art, MB Horvath, associate dean of the first year experience, Janet Shapiro, dean of the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, Katie Tarr, athletics director and chair of physical education & wellness, and trustees Mary Clark '87 and Nicole Huynh '06.
Please join me in congratulating Nichole on this well-deserved promotion. We are in excellent hands as she continues to advance Bryn Mawr's reputation and ensure our community remains vibrant and accessible for generations to come.
Sincerely,
Wendy Cadge
