Ariana Hall ’17 Awarded Fulbright Teaching Assistantship in Colombia

English major Ariana Hall ’17 won a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to teach and do research in Colombia.

Starting in the fall, Ariana will spend ten months working as an assistant English language teacher. She will also simultaneously conduct an independent research project about the Afro-Colombian community.

Fulbright Grants are awarded for post-graduate research and study abroad or for positions such as English Teaching Assistants in schools or universities. An applicant must be the recipient of a bachelor’s degree before the beginning date of the grant.
