Bryn Mawr President Kim Cassidy on the Importance of Women's Colleges in the Quest for Equality

Bryn Mawr is among the many women's colleges that's seen an increase in applications in recent years. The online media outlet The Conversation asked the leaders of three women's colleges about what makes their institutions distinct.
Here's some of what Bryn Mawr President Kim Cassidy had to say:
"Graduates often tell me that a women’s college is the first space where they felt it was acceptable to be smart and passionate about ideas. As one young alum put it recently, a women’s college experience 'gives you the confidence to believe that you can do anything you set your mind to…It’s cool to be intelligent.'"
