Several individuals recently joined Bryn Mawr's Board of Trustees.
Anna West '21 is serving a three-year term as a young alumna trustee. Cheryl Holland '80, who previously served as a trustee from 1994–2006 and 2012–2020, has been re-elected to the Board and will be joined by Will Rehrig P'17, both to five-year terms as trustees. After serving a one-year term as an ex officio representative to the Board as president-elect of the Alumnae Leadership Council, Dana Thompson ’94 has also begun a five-year term as a voting trustee.
Anna West '21 is a public policy analyst at the financial services firm PFM. She holds a master of public administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Fels Institute of Government, where she was an ImpactED Fellow supporting Philadelphia nonprofits and government agencies through applied research and program evaluation. She also conducted quantitative research at DevLab@Penn focused on gendered outcomes and equitable program design across 20+ international development studies.
West’s career spans global health, international development, nonprofit advocacy, education, and domestic policy, with experience at organizations including the United Nations Foundation, Hologic, Women of Reform Judaism, and Bryn Mawr College’s Office of Admissions.
Anna earned her AB in French with minors in health studies and psychology at Bryn Mawr in 2021. She was awarded the Boren Scholarship to study Wolof in Senegal and is a Fulbright Scholar awardee. She is fluent in French, has working proficiency in Wolof, and lives in Philadelphia.
Cheryl R. Holland '80 previously served on the Board as a trustee from 1994–2006. She was a special representative on the Board from 2006–2012 and was re-elected as a trustee in 2012. In 2015 Holland was elected to be a vice chair of the Board and continued to serve in that role until 2020. Holland chaired the Investment Subcommittee (ISC) from 2008 to 2014 and served as a member of the subcommittee from 2014 to 2020.
Holland is president of Abacus Planning Group Inc., a comprehensive financial planning and investment counsel firm for individuals and closely held businesses, which she founded in 1998. A certified financial planner, Holland is a frequent speaker in her profession and has authored numerous articles on financial planning subjects.
She has served on several other boards, including the Clemson University Foundation Board, the Chairman’s Council for the Institute for the Fiduciary Standard, Together Women Rise, the South Carolina Special Olympics, Midlands Technical College Foundation, the United Way of the Midlands, and as a member of the American Bible Society Board’s Investment Committee.
Holland majored in economics at Bryn Mawr. She received the Alumnae Association’s Distinguished Service Award in 2025. She lives in Columbia, South Carolina, with her husband, architect P. Douglas Quackenbush.
William “Will” Rehrig P'17 is the fourth-generation chief executive officer of Rehrig Pacific Company and the great-grandson of Will Rehrig, who founded it in 1913. Rehrig Pacific is an industry leader in pallets, waste and recycling containers, supply chain solutions, and direct store delivery solutions. He is an engineering and manufacturing executive with over 30 years of experience. Rehrig serves on the board of directors for Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.
Rehrig has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. He lives in Rolling Hills Estates, California, with his wife, April, the founder of Rise Educational Advocacy and Consulting. He is the father of Sophie Rehrig, Class of 2017. Sophie graduated from Bryn Mawr with a degree in linguistics and is a senior software engineer.
