- Conducted research on motivation for rewards and personality factors at the Child and Adolescent Development, Emotion, Personality, and Psychopathology Lab at Temple University as part of the Praxis Independent Study
- Received LILAC summer funding to teach English in Italy
- Member of the Bi-Co Chorale for three years
