Post-graduation plans: I am working as the Operations Manager for Eno River Farm, a small business that opened in late March in Hillsborough, NC
People you want to thank: Jessica Friedlander ‘09, who showed me how exceptional the BMC community is before I was ever a part of it. Marissa Golden, who got me through 4 years in one piece (somehow). And of course, my wonderful family and spectacular friends!
Anything else you’d want to say about your Bryn Mawr experience: My entire life has been defined by the qualities that made me a Mawrter– for the longest time I believed them to be a disadvantage, qualities like being outspoken and assertive, ambitious and brave made me too this, too that, just too. My time at Bryn Mawr taught me I’ve made my way in the world because of those qualities, not in spite of them. I was taught to celebrate the good parts of myself, challenge the... not so great parts, and love the whole sloppy, stubborn, amazing, resilient, worthwhile thing.
I am simply a new chapter in the age-old Bryn Mawr story– Bryn Mawr showed me that I am enough as I am. I love being a Mawrter and I’ll never stop growing and learning because I am one.
