Hometown: Alpine, TX

Key Bryn Mawr Experiences:

  • Studying abroad in Copenhagen
  • Dancing with Afreen for four years
  • Working as a Teaching Assistant for Liv Raddatz
  • Conducting independent research for my senior thesis
  • Leading environmental initiatives on campus
  • Praxis work with the Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations
  • Receiving LILAC funding to complete an unpaid internship at Johns Hopkins University

Post-graduation plans: I will be pursuing my Master’s degree in Urban Planning at Columbia University this fall.

People I want to thank: I want to thank the incredible faculty in the Growth and Structure of Cities department for endlessly supporting and encouraging me in my studies. I especially want to thank Liv Raddatz, for being so generous with her knowledge and guidance since my very first class with her four years ago. I also want to thank Jennifer Hurley, for being a brilliant thesis and independent study advisor, and for allowing me to adopt her as a mentor. I want to thank my kind, hilarious, completely unstoppable friends, for being hands-down the best part of my time at Bryn Mawr. I will miss the campus, but I will miss you the most. Anassa kata!
