Class of 2020: Karina Gonzalez

May 15, 2020
""

Name: Karina Gonzalez

Major: Sociology

Key Bryn Mawr Experiences: My experience was my time on the Fencing Team and my job in the Mending Department at Canaday! Both allowed me to not only meet people but also allowed me to get to know more students with common interests.

Hometown: New York, N.Y.

People you want to thank: To my friends and family members who’ve not only encouraged me but also inspired me to continue my education and reach for my goals. Without you, I wouldn’t be who I am today. I would also like to thank my dean, Charles Heyduk, for helping me throughout my time at Bryn Mawr. You’ve helped me more times than I can count, thank you so much for everything.

Message for the rest of the Class of 2020: I hope I get to see you all again in the future to celebrate our accomplishments properly!

Words of wisdom for the Class of 2024: The experience you get is what you make of it, if you want it to be good then you can make it good.

Anything else you’d want to say about your Bryn Mawr experience: Despite whatever trouble I’ve had throughout my time at Bryn Mawr, I don’t regret choosing Bryn Mawr as my home.
