Words of wisdom for class of 2024: Every step you take is meaningful; big or small, just take it! A small thing you decided to start one day could become one of the greatest gifts to your life. Don’t come to the conclusion on who you are before you give yourself a chance to explore who you are.

What I will remember most about my time at Bryn Mawr: Bryn Mawr is a special place where every interaction you have with people carries a special meaning. As an only child, raised bilingual, having been stuck between the two worlds of Chinese and American schooling systems and at age 14 decided to leave home to better understand the US society, I’ve lived my whole life seeking for connections, a sense of belonging, and a home. Bryn Mawr is one of the only places I can truly call home because of the people I met. We support each other, embrace each other for who we are, and challenge each other’s pre-existing assumptions and see differently. It is a place where people can have pluralistic discourses on complex, nuanced topics. It is a place where every individual is unique and build connections by sharing and understanding each other’s uniqueness. The way that people have inspired me and helped me grow is something that I will remember the most about my time at Bryn Mawr.

People I want to thank: I want to express gratitude to everyone who has engaged in meaningful interactions with me at Bryn Mawr. You have no idea how you even a small conversation would teach me values that I will carry on for a lifetime. Many thanks to my professors, Professor Seung-Youn Oh, Professor Lauren Restrepo, Professor Joshua Moses, Professor Sara Grossman, Professor Giovanna DiChiro, Professor Veronica Montes, Professor Katherine Marenco and Don Barber, for helping me maximize my potentials and strengthen my academic passion. Many thanks to my bosses, Libby Lakeman and Amanda Barwise at the admissions office, Jen Callaghan at the Writing Center, Arleen Zimmerle at Canaday Reference office, Ray Bevidas at Erdman and Sensenich at NDDH, for generously training me with work skills and creating the healthiest workplace environment that I could ask for. Additionally, I would like to thank all my friends and colleagues, my roommate, my lovely WTF moms, siblings and children, my wonderfully chaotic tunes fam, and the Fanning and the Tang families. Also many thanks to all people in the following group chats: Prof Oh’s Tired Fan Club, fUWUd?, POLS249^(!Auditor,胖弹粉丝Ricki), Army of TGO, ES Capstone, and Drowsy Dragons. Thank you for helping me become a better person and a better a meme connoisseur.
