Class of 2020: Liz Horvath

May 4, 2020
Liz Horvath '20

Major: Anthropology

Key Bryn Mawr Experiences: President and then Music Director of the Acabellas; Anthropology Teaching Assistant; Canaday Library Circulation Assistant; THRIVE Mentor

Hometown: Cherryville, PA

Post-graduation plans: I will begin working as a project assistant at a public policy and capital investment organization in Philadelphia this summer.

Words of wisdom for the Class of 2024: Take advantage of everything that you can, and start early; take the classes in another department that look interesting, go to club meetings, attend performances when you have a free evening. Four years goes by a lot quicker than you’d think, and it’s much better to spend a little extra time trying new things while you’re here than regret missing out when you leave.

What I will remember the most about my time at Bryn Mawr: The camaraderie and care that I felt from my classmates every day. Bryn Mawr truly has a student support system like no other, and I’m definitely going to miss it.
