Evan Schneider ’10 has recently been named one of NASA’s 17 new Hubble Fellows.
Participants in the Hubble Fellowship program conduct research broadly related to the mission of NASA's Cosmic Origins program, which aims to examine the origins of galaxies, stars, and planetary systems, and the evolution of these structures with cosmic time.
Schneider will be conducting her research at Princeton University, where she also received an institutional fellowship.
Schneider graduated from Bryn Mawr with a B.A. in physics in 2010, and recently earned her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona.
In 2011, Schneider received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
