Professor David S. Byers worked with colleagues Lauren McInroy at The Ohio State University and Shanna Kattari at University of Michigan to develop a guide for social work educators responding to anti-LGBTQIA2S+ microaggressions in social work classrooms. The guide was published this month by the Council on Social Work Education, and sent to every member of the organization and every accredited school of social work in the United States and Canada. The guide builds on a recent journal article the group published in the Journal of Social Work Education.
