Abstract: The essay, "On Histories Assimilable and Inassimilable," was translated for publication in the German edition of the volume Wieloglos o Zagladzie (Polyphony on the Holocaust), first published, in Polish, by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow in 2018. The volume gathers the "voices" of critics, writers, scholars and artists whose work has framed and furthered conversations about aesthetics and ethics after Auschwitz.
