The German Department organized an excursion to the German restaurant Brauhaus Schmitz and the Christmas Village in downtown Philadelphia on December 3, 2016. Students tasted authentic German/European dishes such as Döner Kebab, Spätzle, Wienerschnitzel, Wurst Platte and Strudel.
"We had a great fun time together," says Assistant Professor of German Qinna Shen. "For many students, it was their first time experiencing the atmosphere of a German-style Christmas market."
