GSSWSR Dean Darlyne Bailey Honored at Centennial Celebration of the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences

November 17, 2016

As part of the 100th anniversary of the Case Western Reserve’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, GSSWSR Dean Darlyne Bailey was inducted into the newly established Hall of Achievement. This honor recognizes the accomplishments of outstanding alumni, faculty, and partners who have greatly impacted the Mandel School. Darlyne served as dean of the school from 1994-2002.

Bailey also joined the current dean of the Mandel School and two other former deans on a special Centennial Panel, “Inspiring Hope, Shaping the Future: The Deans’ Perspectives.” Collectively, these deans represented 42 years of influential school history and countless years of personal accomplishment. They addressed the trends that have shaped social work, nonprofit management and the Mandel School—in the past and present while sharing their visions of the roles and responsibilities of social work in the future.
