Kathy Brennan '89 and co-author Caroline Campion's latest cookbook,
The Dinner Plan, aims to help cooks get dinner on the table no matter what the workweek throws at them.
The duo's earlier book
Keepers won best general cookbook at the 2014 International Association of Culinary Professionals awards, and like their latest was focused on helping busy home cooks answer the question, "What's for dinner?"
A Delaware resident, Brennan recently talked to
The News Journal about her latest book.
From the article:
Like Keepers, this book is for those that, as Brennan says, “don’t want to order Za’atar spice from Amazon or are not in New York City and can’t just run around the corner to get a duck."
"It's a real, in-the-trenches cookbook," Brennan said.
Brennan is a winner of the Bert Greene and James Beard Journalism Awards and a graduate of New York's International Culinary Center. She was a senior editor at Saveur and also worked at Gourmet and Food Arts. She majored in English at Bryn Mawr.
