Laney Myers '20 and Peyton Moriarty '21 to Intern at the Smithsonian this Summer

History majors Laney Myers '20 and Peyton Moriarty '21 just received internship positions at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Sponsored by the Museum Studies program, this internship opportunity is only available to Bryn Mawr students. 

This summer, they will be working in the National Anthropological Archives and conducting an internship in archival curatorship and outreach. Their summer work will include improving the accessibility and visibility of the archive.

They will be assisting the curators in the research, planning, scripting, and promotion of the upcoming exhibition Documenting Diversity: How Anthropologists Record Culture, opening in February 2020.
