Lantern Night 2017

November 13, 2017

Hundreds of first-year students gathered in the Cloisters of College Hall on Sunday, Nov. 12 to receive their lanterns. Lantern Night welcomes first-year students into the Bryn Mawr academic community, and represents a passing of the light of knowledge from one class to the next. This year, sophomores presented first years with red lanterns, and McBrides with purple lanterns, which correspond with their class colors. Learn more about Bryn Mawr College traditions.
